Okay, well it's the end of summer and you know, I have mixed feelings.

I mean on one hand, I get to go see all my buddies!
I'm not sitting in my house doing almost nothing.
I don't have to babysit anymore!
And I personally can't wait for Halloween.

BUT!

I have to go back to school.
I'm going to be bombarded with work!
I can't watch mindless brain-numbing TV all day!
And I don't know half of my teachers cuz they're new!

Onto a lighter note, I got to go out and see some Philipino culture! But it was weird cuz there wasn't many non Philipino people there so I was a little paranoid. But even they were talking about other Philippine people behind there backs, so it was all good... for the most part.

It was really like a convention but everyone was Philipino.
Their food was... different. They had stuff like chicken and fries but... true Philippine food it strange.
I had something called chicken adobo which was really good, it was basically chicken smothered in grease and oil. Hmmm, no wonder it was so good!
But I had something else called a holoholo or something like that (meaning mix mix in english). On top was shaved ice, milk and purple ice cream that tasted like coconut. But on the bottom was I don't even want to know what. I did see some rice and jello in there but... whatever that brown stuff was... DANG!

So yeah, we walked around and bought stuff. It was cool. Then they had these guys and giurls come out and do the HULA! That was pretty awesome!

They had a lot of famous Philipino stars there and they sang for us.

But other than that there wasn't a whole lot to do once you walked around the whole thing five times.

Um, let's see... what else did I do lately?... Hmmm, nothing.

Well I'm gonna go lie down, even though I shouldn't. I hurt. But that's okay, I'll live... I hope.

I want some pie. Too bad I don't have any...
